Whether you are a new shooter or experienced, The JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa will offer you both excitement and competition. Our Sporting Complex offers something for shooters of all skill levels. Each of our venues was planned with your enjoyment in mind. We offer the following shooting activities: skeet, sporting clays, long range, pistol/rifle range and archery.

Skeet / Trap

Enjoy shooting skeet and trap with us day or night. Our regulation field is perfect for you to practice on or is the perfect setting just to have to fun. If you can’t make it out during daylight hours, you can shoot under the lights and have a great experience.
Personal firearm(s) must be checked in with Guest Services upon arrival to the property. Gun rental available, price per shooter per activity PLUS cost of ammo usage.

Sporting Clays

Our courses are nestled among the trees which creates a one of a kind experience. We offer 2 different challenging 14 station sporting clays courses for your enjoyment.

Pistol/Rifle Range

Our pistol range is the perfect destination if you love to target shoot, test your abilities on tactical targets, or want to become more proficient with your handgun. The 200 yard rifle range is a great venue to practice shooting and sight in any firearm you may have. Our custom benches will make it a breeze to sight your rifles in.

Long Range

For a truly one of a kind experience try out our long range. Challenge yourself to hit targets out to 1500 yards. You will be shooting from a 3 story shooting structure that offers a different view and experience from each level. If you’ve ever thought about long distance shooting but don’t have the equipment, you can rent ours. We use 7mm MOA’s with Nightforce optics. Come test yourself.
