Terms and Conditions.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY.  YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CONSTITUTES A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT.

All guests staying overnight, or engaging in any resort activities on property, will be required to sign the JL Bar Contractor & Guest Release Form upon arrival.

RESORT FEES & GRATUITY
The JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa (the “Resort”) will assess a resort fee equal to 20% of your room rate. The Resort will assess gratuity equal to 20% of all spa, food, and beverage services received during your stay. The Resort will assess an activity fee equal to 15% of all activities booked during your stay.  The total fees and gratuity charges will be assessed to your final invoice.

ROOM CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel your reservation with no charge if you cancel before 11:59 PM Central time on the day that is at least 61 days before your originally scheduled date of arrival.  After that you will be assessed a fee equal to the total booked room charges, plus applicable taxes.  All notices for room cancellations must be submitted to Guest Services by calling 855-414-3337 or emailing [email protected].

The room cancellation policy for corporate clients and event contracts is governed exclusively by the terms and conditions set forth in your event contract.

MODIFYING YOUR RESERVATION
Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation for any room or activity may result in a rate change.

MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS
Military and first responder discounts apply to room rates only.  Guests requesting this discount must present a valid ID at check-in or the non-discounted rate will be charged.

PROMOTION CODES & DISCOUNTS
Guests may only utilize one promotion code or discount during their stay.  Multiple promotion codes or discounts cannot be utilized.

BOOKED ACTIVITIES & SPA SERVICES CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel your reservation for a booked activity or spa service for no charge if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled activity or service time.  After that you will be assessed a fee equal to the booked activity or spa service, plus applicable taxes.  All notices for cancellations for activities and spa services must be submitted to Guest Services by calling 855-414-3337 or emailing [email protected].

RESORT SHOOTING ACTIVITIES
The Resort will charge you for any gun rentals and ammo following the shooting activity based on actual usage, if needed.  As a reminder, Gun Rental Fees are $60.00 per gun per activity plus ammo usage.  If you prefer, you are welcome to use your own firearm or share a rented firearm with someone participating with you in the activity.

LONG GUN FIREARM STORAGE
For the safety and security of all our guests, all long guns must be secured in the Resort’s vault upon checking in to the Resort.  No rifles or shotguns may be stored in any vehicle or guest room.  Rifles or shotguns may be checked out of the Resort’s vault in connection with a Resort supervised shooting or hunting activity.

PETS ON PROPERTY
Pets and emotional support animals are allowed, but we do require a $350 non-refundable deposit because of the additional pet cleaning process that must be performed after guests have left. For service animals, we comply with the ADA and all applicable laws. In all cases, you will be responsible and charged for any damage or injury caused by your pet or animal. In addition, the following rules and regulations will apply during your stay at the Resort:

  • All pets and animals must have current vaccinations. You may be required to show proof of vaccinations upon arrival.
  • Pets and emotional support animals are welcome to stay inside select accommodations. Service animals are excluded from this restriction.
  • While outdoors, all pets/animals must remain on a leash at all times.
  • Pets and emotional support animals must be kenneled when left unattended in guest accommodations.
  • Housekeeping will not enter a guest accommodation if the pet/animal is unkenneled.
  • Pets and emotional support animals may not participate in Resort activities (hiking is the only exception).
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets/animals on Resort property and surrounding area.
  • Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in any indoor common areas. Service animals are excluded from this restriction.

PRIVACY POLICY

ADMINISTRATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Resort reserves the right to interpret these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Resort shall be final.

MODIFICATION OF THESE POLICIES
You agree that the Resort reserves the right to amend, supplement, or otherwise modify these Terms and Conditions in writing to you.

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflicts of law rules.  You agree that the exclusive venue for filing any and all actions relating to any and all disputes arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be Tom Green County, Texas.  The foregoing shall not apply to the extent that applicable law in your country of residence requires application of another law and/or jurisdiction and cannot be excluded with your consent.
